In The Herman Bartle of Tales, I juxtaposed the Fibonacci Spiral to every page of Bartleby, The Scrivener, by Melville, and erased all the words not covered by the spiral, thus making a series of erasure poems. Every page is presented in 2 versions, laying bare the two processes in the making of this book.
